Spectre Analog TZ Flanger
The Spectre from Chase Bliss Audio is a through-zero flanger pedal that features an all-analog signal path, which can be tweaked to achieve subtle or exaggerated flange tones. It also boasts an impressive array of chorus and vibrato tones that are equally inspiring. Like the other pedals in the Chase Bliss Audio lineup, the Spectre is controlled by a digital interface that keeps your signal 100% analog all the time, allowing for unprecedented tonal versatility and control capabilities.
The MIX (RAMP) knob controls the amount of flange on your signal from clean with a tube preamp like character all the way to exaggerated and whacky. ZERO sets the manual delay time on the flange effect. To find the “zero point,” set the WIDTH knob all the way counter clockwise and sweep the ZERO knob between 1 o’clock and 3 o’clock in negative polarity mode. REGEN increases or decreases the intensity of the flange from the point of more subtle, chorus tones to self-oscilating, whale-like noises. RPM controls the tempo of the flange effect and can be over ridden by the tap-tempo. The 1-2-4(3-6-8) toggle controls the tap divisions for the tap-tempo. WIDTH controls the width of the flange. SHIFT controls the center point of the modulation. The LEFT and RIGHT WAVE SHAPE toggles control the first and second halves of the wave modulation. The LOWER toggle recalls settings for easy tone shifts. The Spectre has several dip switches for customized use with an expression pedal and is also capable of being used with a midi controller. This inspiring and versatile pedal will take your playing to another level.
